Fourth quarter: Hoover, Wiley add late TD for TCU
Hoover connected with Wiley on a 5-yard touchdown with 2:22 left to make it OU 69-45.
Fourth quarter: Billy Bowman returns INT for touchdown
Billy Bowman did it again.
Bowman turned in his third pick-six of the season and his Big 12-leading sixth interception of the season, picking off Josh Hoover and returning it 45 yards for a touchdown to put OU up 69-38 on TCU.
Bowman was nearly brought down at the 20, but he was able to spin out of a TCU defender’s grasp, reverse field and find his way into the end zone.
Bowman returned an interception 100 yards for a score in last week’s win at BYU.

Fourth quarter: Gavin Sawchuk adds to Sooners' lead
Gavin Sawchuk continued his big day Saturday —one of several offensively for the Sooners — with a 9-yard touchdown run with 6:30 remaining to put OU up 62-38 on TCU.
The touchdown is Sawchuk’s third of the day.
He has 22 carries for 130 yards for his fourth consecutive 100-yard performance.
The Sooners are averaging 5.4 yards per carry on TCU.

Fourth quarter: Zach Schmit field goal extends OU lead
Zach Schmit might have entered Friday struggling, but he’s helping OU stave off TCU so far.
Schmit his a 40-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter to give OU a 55-38 lead on the Horned Frogs with 10:14 left.
Schmit hit a 23-yarder in the third quarter.

Third quarter: Emani Bailey keeps gashing OU defense
The Sooners can’t quite put TCU away.
Josh Hoover hit Emani Bailey for a 12-yard touchdown in the final minute of the third quarter to put OU’s lead at 52-38.
On the play before, Bailey broke off a 49-yard run to put himself at 154 yards on 20 carries.
After holding TCU to just 221 yards of offense in the first half, the Horned Frogs have 228 against OU’s defense in the third quarter.

Third quarter: Drake Stoops gets TD catch on Senior Day
Drake Stoops is making the most of his final game on Owen Field.
Stoops had back-to-back big plays late in the first quarter to help put the Sooners up 52-31 on TCU with 2:46 remaining in the third quarter.
First, Stoops was able to keep his toes inbounds on a 17-yard pass from Dillon Gabriel and then on the next play, Gabriel again looked Stoops’ way.
The super senior fought through contact and stretched the ball out over the goalline as he was being brought down, giving Stoops his 10th touchdown of the season.
Stoops has 10 catches for 99 yards.

Third quarter: TCU chipping away at OU lead
TCU isn’t going away quietly.
The Horned Frogs scored their second touchdown of the third quarter, a 3-yard touchdown from Josh Hoover to Jared Wiley, to pull the Horned Frogs with two touchdowns, 45-31, with 5:14 remaining in the third quarter.
TCU completed the two-point conversion with another pass to Wiley.
The Horned Frogs have outgained the Sooners 152-70 so far in the second half.

Third quarter: Emani Bailey scores TD to cut TCU deficit
TCU’s Emani Bailey broke off a 32-yard touchdown run on OU’s first defensive possession of the second half, but the Sooners still lead 45-23.
Bailey crossed the 100-yard threshold for the game, with 17 carries for 101 yards.
The Sooners are outgaining TCU 445-299.

Third quarter: Sooners extend lead with Zach Schmit field goal
OU had to settle for a field goal to start the second half.
Zach Schmit hit a 23-yard field goal to put the Sooners up 45-16 with 9:51 remaining in the third quarter.
The field goal was Schmit’s first of the day.

Halftime: Sooners rolling over Horned Frogs
OU’s defense couldn’t come up with another three-and-out.
But the Sooners’ defense came up with a stop deep in their own territory once again, holding TCU to a field goal to send OU into halftime with a 42-16 lead.
The Horned Frogs gashed the Sooners earlier in the drive, and had first-and-goal at the 9 after Gentry Williams was called for pass interference after an apparent third-down stop with 15 seconds left.
But the Sooners stopped TCU from reaching the end zone, as the Horned Frogs had to settle for a field goal on the final play of the first half.
OU outgained the Horned Frogs 375-221 before the break, including 278-155 through the air.

Second quarter: Tawee Walker adds to Sooners' rout
OU is leaving no doubt in its Big 12 finale.
Tawee Walker’s 9-yard touchdown run put the Sooners up 42-13 on TCU with 3:18 still to go before halftime.
Early on, it was the passing game that was doing damage, but recently its been the OU running game making hay.
The touchdown run was the third consecutive for OU. Gavin Sawchuk had the first two.
After early struggles, the Sooners’ defense has come up with a trio of three-and-outs on the last three drives, including making a fourth-down stop on a fake TCU punt.
The rushing touchdown was Walker’s first since the Bedlam loss Nov. 4.

OU’s offense keeps clicking along.
Gavin Sawchuk ran for his second consecutive touchdown, a 7-yard run, to put the Sooners up 35-13 on TCU with 6:15 remaining in the second quarter.
The drive was set up by a pair of big defensive plays.
First, safety Reggie Pearson stripped the ball from Horned Frogs quarterback Josh Hoover on third down in TCU territory, then the Sooners snuffed out a fake punt by the Horned Frogs to give OU the ball at the TCU 33.
The Sooners are outgaining the Horned Frogs 292-142.

Second quarter: Gavin Sawchuk extends Sooners' lead
Most of OU’s offensive damage has come through the air Friday vs. TCU.
But early in the second quarter, running back Gavin Sawchuk made a statement, breaking through some contact at the line of scrimmage and then finding wide open grass beyond that for a 12-yard touchdown run that put the Sooners up 28-13.
It was Sawhcuk’s sixth rushing touchdown of the season.
OU is outgaining the Horned Frogs 259-137, with 237 of those yards coming through the air.
Dillon Gabriel hit Nic Anderson for a 16-yard gain on fourth-and-3 earlier in the drive to keep things alive for Sawhcuk’s run.
Anderson has three catches for 86 yards.

Second quarter: Dillon Gabriel connects on TD with Brenen Thompson
Dillon Gabriel keeps dealing deep.
On the second play of the second quarter, the OU quarterback hit Brenen Thompson for a 53-yard touchdown to put the Sooners up 21-13 on TCU.
Gabriel is 6 of 11 for 200 yards and two touchdowns so far.
He’s thrown for touchdowns of 59 and 53 yards and had a 50-yard completion early to set up the game’s first score.

First quarter: Dillon Gabriel passes Baker Mayfield on NCAA career list
Dillon Gabriel has passed Baker Mayfield.
Gabriel hit Nic Anderson for a 20-yard completion in the final minute of the first quarter to pass Mayfield for eighth on the NCAA’s career passing list, giving him 14,612 career yards.
Gabriel came into the game 10th all-time in all-time career passing yards, 142 yards behind Mayfield.
He passed Washington State’s Luke Falk on his first completion —a 50-yarder to Nic Anderson —and crept up on Mayfield with a 59-yard touchdown to Jayden Gibson on the Sooners’ second offensive series.
Gabriel is likely not done moving up the list Friday. Boise State’s Kellen Moore is at No. 7, 60 yards ahead of Mayfield’s 14,607.
BYU’s Ty Detmer is sixth on the list with 15,031.

TCU answered right back.
Josh Hoover hit JoJo Earle for a 6-yard touchdown pass to pull the Horned Frogs within one, 14-13, of OU with 4:30 left in the first quarter.
Hoover hit Earle for a 48-yard gain early in the drive to set up the touchdown strike a few plays later.

First quarter: Dillon Gabriel connects with Jayden Gibson on 59-yard TD
Dillon Gabriel keeps on dealing deep.
Gabriel hit Jayden Gibson for a 59-yard touchdown pass about midway through the first quarter to put OU up 14-6 on TCU.
Horned Frogs safety Mark Perry grabbed Gibson’s jersey around the 10 but Gibson drug him into the end zone before Perry could get tackling help.
Gabriel is 3 for 4 for 126 yards and a touchdown and has rushed for another.

First quarter: TCU capitalizes on muffed punt, cuts into OU lead
An ill-time decision on a punt put OU in a tight spot early in the first quarter.
Punt returner Gavin Freeman dove toward a TCU punt and couldn’t handle it, as the Horned Frogs recovered at the Sooners’ 19.
Three plays later, TCU quarterback Josh Hoover’s 3-yard touchdown run put the Horned Frogs on the board before the Horned Frogs missed the extra points to keep OU ahead, 7-6.

First quarter: Dillon Gabriel, Sooners strike first
Dillon Gabriel wasted no time proving his health.
The OU quarterback hit a 50-yard pass on the Sooners’ opening offensive play and then two plays later ran it in from eight yards out to put OU up 7-0 early on TCU.
The rushing touchdown was Gabriel’s team-leading 12th of the season.
Gabriel started the series with a deep pass to redshirt freshman Nic Anderson.

First quarter: Dillon Gabriel starts at quarterback
Dillon Gabriel is starting at quarterback for OU on Friday against TCU.
Gabriel was injured late in the first half in last week’s win at BYU, throwing his status for Friday’s game in doubt.
But Sooners coach Brent Venables said Monday that Gabriel was on track to return and he did, playing on the first offensive series.

Pregame: OU honors senior class before TCU game
Twenty-six Sooners went through Senior Day festivities before Saturday’s game vs. TCU.
The group includes a few players listed as juniors including center Andrew Raym, offensive tackle Tyler Guyton, linebacker Shane Whitter, and wide receiver LV Bunkley-Shelton.
Several seniors with eligibility remaining did not, including Davis Beville, Luke Elzinga, Josh Plaster and Davon Sears.
Two awards were presented as part of the ceremonies.
The Don Key Award was shared by Dillon Gabriel, Drake Stoops and Woodi Washington.
Derrick Shepard Most Inspirational Walk-On Award was split between Tawee Walker and Pierce Hudgens.

OU quarterbackDillon Gabriel, who was knocked out of theSooners' win over BYUlast week, is warming up ahead ofFriday's regular-season finale vs. TCU.
The Sooners haven't yet started their full-team warmups but Gabriel came out to throw on the field while specialists started warming up.
When the team came out to warm up, Gabriel was taking snaps from starting center Andrew Raym.
Gabriel threw for 191 yards and two touchdowns in the first half against the Cougars but didn't return for the second half after suffering an apparent head injury on the Sooners' next-to-last offensive play before halftime.
